Laundry detergent and fabric softener
How is a scented laundry detergent different from a regular one?
It not only cleans but also leaves a perfume-grade scent in the fabric. The detergent is free of phosphates and harsh dyes, works at 30–60 °C and suits cotton and blended fabrics. Read more in scented laundry detergents: what they are and why choose them.
How much detergent and fabric softener should I use per wash?
For both the detergent and the fabric softener, use 30–50 ml per wash, depending on water hardness. With soft water, 30 ml is enough; with hard water, use up to 50 ml.
Which washing machine compartment do I use?
Detergent goes into the main wash compartment, fabric softener into the rinse (softener) compartment. Compartment symbols are explained in where to put fabric softener and detergent.
Can fabric softener replace detergent?
No. Fabric softener does not remove dirt – it softens the fabric and adds scent during the final rinse, so it is used together with detergent. When detergent alone is enough is explained in detergent or fabric softener.
Should I use fabric softener on towels?
It is better not to use fabric softener on towels, as it reduces their absorbency. If you want your towels to smell good, scented detergent is enough. More in why towels stop absorbing water.
Can I wash baby clothes with it?
For baby clothes, we recommend choosing special fragrance-free laundry products.
Fragrances
How many fragrances does each product come in?
- Laundry detergent and fabric softener – 11 fragrances.
- Distilled water – 8 fragrances.
- Wrinkle release spray – 2 fragrances.
- Home and car fragrances (Parfumery Collection) – 3 fragrances.
- All-purpose surface cleaner – 1 fragrance (Vanilla Boomer).
Some fragrances may be temporarily unavailable – the ones currently in stock are shown on each product page.
How do I choose a fragrance?
You will find the notes of each fragrance on the product page under “Fragrance description”. You can try the home and car fragrances by ordering a fragrance sample.
Can I combine several products in the same fragrance?
Yes. Fragrances are marked with codes, so you can choose the detergent, fabric softener and distilled water in the same fragrance code – and your whole laundry routine will share one scent.
Scented distilled water
What is scented distilled water for?
For irons, steam generators, garment steamers and diffusers. It contains no limescale, so the appliance does not clog, and the scent passes into the fabric or the room with the steam. Read more in what scented distilled water is for.
How do I use it?
Pour it straight into the appliance's water tank instead of tap water – no preparation needed. First check that your appliance's manufacturer allows distilled water.
Wrinkle release spray
How do I use the wrinkle release spray?
Hang the garment, spray evenly over the whole surface from 20–30 cm, gently stretch the fabric by hand and wait 1–2 minutes. The bottle holds 250 ml. More methods in how to get wrinkles out of clothes without an iron.
Which fabrics is it suitable for?
Cotton, linen, viscose, blended fabrics and delicate fabrics. Before first use, test it on a hidden area of the garment.
All-purpose surface cleaner
Which surfaces is the cleaner suitable for?
Glass, metal, plastic, stone and most other hard surfaces. Spray and wipe with a dry microfibre cloth. Not suitable for untreated wood or textiles.
Home and car fragrances
What is the Parfumery Collection?
Extrait de Parfum concentration home and car fragrances in a 30 ml bottle. Suitable for the home, office and car.
How do I use the home and car fragrance?
Spray into the air, onto textiles or near the air conditioning vents – a few sprays are enough. Do not spray directly onto lacquered or delicate surfaces.
Is the Parfumery Collection a good gift?
Yes – the fragrances come in an elegant tube, so they make a gift without extra wrapping.
Orders, delivery and returns
How can I pay for my order?
By online banking or payment card. Payments are processed securely by MakeCommerce.
How much does delivery cost and how long does it take?
Orders are delivered by LP Express. Delivery to all three Baltic countries costs €2.00: in Lithuania it takes 1–3 working days, to Latvia and Estonia usually 2–3 working days. Paid orders are dispatched within 1 working day. More in our shipping policy.
Can I return a product?
Yes, you can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. Email orders@alchemyrm.lt with your order number. Full terms are in our refund policy.
What should I do if my parcel arrives damaged?
Email us at orders@alchemyrm.lt within 3 days with your order number and photos. We will replace the product or refund you at our expense.
